How do you get women talking about a new sparkling Rosé they’ve never heard of ?

Women love hearing the steamy exploits of their friends as well as reading romantic fiction (50 shades of grey, Normal people etc). To create the character of Arabella Rose and make her feel like she was a believable but more daring and glamorous friend to our audience. We briefed one of Australia’s top romantic fiction writers - Ally Blake to write ‘50 days with Rose’ - an engaging story written in the form of social media posts coming directly from our heroine. We then drip fed the story throughout the 50 days on Facebook building engagement and participation from our audience. Around the campaign we also did a number of PR events inviting women’s editors and e zines to workshops on writing romantic fiction with our author Ally Blake.
Some 2,500+ Facebook fans engaged with the page over 18,000 times, sharing over 7,422 stories their news feeds, for a combined reach of over 1.25 million unique impressions.
